What does the 'Kindle version' of a book mean?
The Kindle version refers to a special format for e-books developed by Amazon. This version is easy to read on smart phones, Windows PCs, MAC computers, iPads, Android tablets, and Kindle devices and provides a 'real book like' reading experience.
If I want to read a Kindle book, do I need to own a special device?
No. You can read a Kindle book on most computers, tablets and smart phones without any other device required. All you need to do is to download one of the FREE Kindle reading apps here.
Of course, there is also a device called the Kindle e-reader which is basically meant for reading Kindle books, but that is not a necessity to read Kindle books.
Where can I find Kindle books?
Kindle books are available in the Amazon Kindle Store. You can buy the Kindle version of 500 Steve Pavlina Quotes here.
Buying Kindle books involves the same steps as buying anything else online. You pay via Credit Card/Debit Card and your Kindle book automatically appears in your Kindle application on your computer, smart phone or tablet.

Can I read Kindle books for free or do I always have to pay money to read Kindle books?
Kindle books are like real books, so you have to pay to purchase them. However, many Kindle books, especially classics and books in the public domain are free. One of my own favorite free Kindle books is The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle!
